Serrated Wrack Pressed Seaweed Cyanotype

This serrated wrack seaweed was foraged off  the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The serrated wrack seaweed has been cyanotype printed, this is a print of the cyanotype. This serrated wrack pressed seaweed cyanotype is Giclee printed on eco 290gsm Hahnemühle Bamboo paper. The print is labelled with its common name, latin name and the name of the beach it was found on.

Cyanotype photography is a camera-less technique that involves laying an object on paper coated with a solution of iron salts before exposing it to UV light and washing with water to create stunning white and Prussian blue images.
