Leather Handled Seagrass Basket

The Turtle Bags Leather Handled Seagrass Basket is handmade. The basket is handwoven from seagrass which is sustainable and has an important role to play in stabilising flooded wetland soils. This natural fibre has a wonderful warm colour.

Turtle Bags' partner;  Women's Empowerment Programme in Bangladesh produce the baskets which gives employment, training and an income to the ladies involved, whilst stabilising the soil in areas increasingly prone to flooding and erosion.

Please note: that the handles are wrapped in leather
